Welcome to "LIZZIESART"

Hi, my name is Lizzie and I live in Cornwall UK, I am a hobby painter and have been a member of CAMBORNE SOCIETY OF ART AND CRAFTS for a long time ( approximately 15 years!) I have " A" level in ART, and last year (2002) completed a 6 month distance learning course with the NATIONAL DESIGN ACADEMY in Nottingham where I gained an qualification in PROFESSIONAL INTERIOR DESIGN to OCN Level 3 with 8 credits. On this course I learned how to do PERSPECTIVE DRAWING correctly, and find this invaluable in my art work.

This Website is designed to show my art work, some of it created in the past 3 years. I don't have as much time as I would like to paint and draw, so I must make more effort this year! I use all mediums, but my favourite is Pastel on transparent paper. I mostly paint birds, animals and Cornish land/seascapes.I love Celtic Art and these pages are decorated with images from a copyright free book, some have been digitally altered in Paintshop Pro 7, mainly the navigation buttons.
